Citation information is provided for working papers which have subsequently been published; these working papers are no longer available except to libraries which may require an archival copy. Instead, researchers are requested to contact their local libraries to obtain a copy of the published version.
Accessing Unpublished Papers
Working papers not yet published as articles, book chapters or monographs may be accessed as described below:
- Working papers which are available electronically (see download instructions below) may be accessed free of charge.
- Submit requests for papers not available electronically to library@pop.psu.edu. Please include the working paper number in your request, and a valid e-mail or postal address for delivery.
Working papers are unpublished manuscripts. Do not copy or cite without author permission.

For working papers available online, click on the link of the paper you wish to access. For files in PostScript format: after the file has been saved to your computer and unzipped, either it can be viewed using a PostScript viewer, or it can be printed to any printer which supports PostScript. For files in PDF format: if you do not have the Acrobat reader on your computer, click here to download this free software.
