Description: The LIS Summer Workshop is a one-week pre- and post-doctoral workshop designed to introduce young scholars in the social sciences to comparative research in income distribution and social policy using the LIS database. The Luxembourg Income Study has made comparable over 130 large microdata sets which contain comprehensive measures of income and economic well-being for a set of 30 modern industrialized welfare states.
